As a volume in this series, it captures the author’s signature illustrative style, which emphasizes flowing lines and atmospheric, dreamlike world-building.

The series was developed during a period of experimentation within the shojo genre, where creators often blended traditional folklore with contemporary stylistic sensibilities. Kamejiro’s approach was noted for its focus on delicate details and emotional resonance, aiming to transport the reader into a self-contained mystical realm.
