TenPuru

TenPuru: No One Can Live on Loneliness, often simply titled TenPuru, is a romantic comedy manga series written and illustrated by Yoshioka Kimitake. The series began serialization in 2018 in Kodansha’s Comic Days digital platform. It follows the story of Akagami Emitsu, a young man who attempts to escape his reputation as a womanizer by becoming a monk, only to find himself living in a temple populated exclusively by women.

The series is characterized by its blend of ecclesiastical settings with ecchi-style humor and character-driven slapstick. Yoshioka, who previously gained recognition for his illustration work on the Grand Blue Dreaming series, brought a similar kinetic energy and detailed character design to TenPuru. The work has been noted for its focus on the protagonist's internal struggle for discipline versus the chaotic, harem-centric environment of the temple, eventually leading to its adaptation into an animated television series in 2023.
