The Girl From the Other Side: Siúil, a Rún Vol. 12 - [dear.] Side Stories

The Girl From the Other Side: Siúil, a Rún, created by the mangaka Nagabe, concluded its main narrative with the eleventh volume, leaving fans with a poignant and atmospheric resolution. Volume 12, subtitled [dear.] Side Stories, serves as an epilogue and collection of supplementary material that further explores the world inhabited by Shiva and Teacher. It was produced to provide deeper context into the series' folklore and the quiet moments between the characters that defined its unique, fable-like quality.

Nagabe's design style is heavily influenced by Western children’s book illustrations, characterized by high-contrast, black-and-white ink work that evokes a sense of gothic melancholy and warmth. This volume continues that aesthetic, using spare, expressive lines to maintain the series' signature ethereal tone. Upon its release, the volume was well-received by fans as a gentle farewell, appreciated for its ability to expand upon the lore without disrupting the emotional closure established in the final act of the main series.
