Theo-drama: The Action is the fourth volume of Hans Urs von Balthasar’s monumental five-volume theological work, Theo-Drama: Theological Dramatic Theory. Completed in the late 20th century, this series emerged from the Swiss theologian's effort to synthesize aesthetic, dramatic, and theological perspectives, positioning the life and work of Christ as the central 'action' of human history.
