This Train Station Employee Will Quit In 100 Days

This Train Station Employee Will Quit In 100 Days originated as a web manga series created by the artist known as The Back, serialized primarily through social media platforms. Following the thematic trend of countdown-based narratives in digital manga, the series follows the daily life of a station employee, building anticipation toward a specific terminal date. It captures a relatable sense of workplace ennui and the quiet determination required to navigate a monotonous professional environment until a pre-determined end point.

The art style is minimalist and observational, focusing on the character's internal monologue and small, everyday interactions within the transit environment. By utilizing the 100-day structure, the author creates a steady rhythm that resonates with readers who follow the slow accumulation of days leading to a major life change. It has been received as a contemplative piece of slice-of-life storytelling, noted for its steady pacing and the way it highlights the often overlooked experiences of transit workers.
