Touhou - Kikai no Sora ni XXX o: Automatic Sky Unknown (Doujinshi)

Kikai no Sora ni XXX o: Automatic Sky Unknown is a notable doujinshi publication originating from the circle Suoiretsym. Like many works within the expansive Touhou Project fan culture, this item emerged from the tradition of independent creators producing unofficial derivative literature. These works typically serve to expand the rich lore of Gensokyo, the fictional setting established by Team Shanghai Alice, by focusing on character vignettes or alternative interpretations of the series' established narrative framework.

The aesthetic of this specific volume reflects the characteristic visual identity of the Suoiretsym circle, which often leans into distinct, atmospheric character portrayals common in the mid-to-late 2000s doujin scene. As with many doujinshi released at events like Reitaisai, the design intent was to provide fans of the Touhou Project with high-quality supplementary media that maintained stylistic consistency with the series' established art direction. It was received by the community as a contribution to the vast, decentralized ecosystem of fan-produced content that has sustained the longevity of the Touhou series.
