Where it came from
The Amatsuki Toki card (OP13-060) was released as part of the 'Carrying On His Will' promotional set, which debuted during the third anniversary celebrations of the One Piece Card Game. These cards were specifically distributed as tournament participation or prize support, intended to commemorate the milestone while highlighting key characters from the Wano Country arc who played pivotal roles in the narrative's progression.
The design of this card features artwork consistent with the series' modern digital aesthetic, focusing on the character's appearance in the flashback sequences of the Wano arc. It reflects the collaborative effort between Bandai's TCG design team and Toei Animation to ensure stylistic fidelity to the source material. Within the competitive community, such anniversary-specific cards are noted for their thematic significance rather than gameplay dominance, serving primarily as sought-after collectibles for fans of the franchise's ongoing storytelling.
