Atlas

The Atlas character card from the Carrying On His Will set (OP13-101) was released as part of a strategic expansion for the One Piece Card Game. This set was specifically designed to capture the narrative intensity of the Egghead Arc, with card designs focusing on the advanced technology and shifting loyalties present in the manga’s current storyline. Atlas, a satellite of Dr. Vegapunk, is rendered here to reflect her assertive, combat-ready personality and the unique aesthetic of the Seraphim-adjacent technology.

The artwork for this card aims to balance the whimsical nature of the Vegapunk satellites with the high-stakes combat mechanics of the game. Designers utilized a clean, modern illustration style that highlights the mechanical aesthetic of her gear, ensuring the character stands out against the set's thematic backgrounds. Upon release, the card was well-received by players for its thematic integration into decks utilizing the Vegapunk engine, though its primary appeal remains with collectors who value detailed representations of contemporary manga characters.
