Where it came from
Bartolomeo (P-029) is a specialized full-art character card released as part of the Premium Booster -The Best- set for the One Piece Card Game. This set was designed to commemorate the most iconic moments and characters from the series' history, serving as a high-quality collection for players and enthusiasts of the trading card game. The card features Bartolomeo, the captain of the Barto Club and a fervent devotee of the Straw Hat Pirates, highlighting his unique Barrier-Barrier Fruit abilities through dynamic, vivid artwork typical of the series' aesthetic.
The design of this full-art variant prioritizes visual impact, utilizing the entire frame to immerse the player in the character's personality and lore. By dedicating the full surface area to the illustration, the design team aimed to create a centerpiece card that appeals to collectors who value artistic detail over standard layout constraints. Upon its release, the card was well-received within the community for its high-fidelity art and its status as a premium representation of a fan-favorite character from the Dressrosa arc.
