Black Maria (Parallel)

The Black Maria card, cataloged as OP08-074, was released as part of the Two Legends expansion set for the One Piece Card Game. This set focuses on pivotal characters and narrative arcs from the series, specifically highlighting the conflict between the Animal Kingdom Pirates and the forces challenging them. The card serves as a character unit, reflecting Black Maria’s role as one of the Tobi Roppo within Kaido’s crew, designed to integrate into tactical gameplay centered around Wano Country themes.

The artwork for this parallel edition features a stylized aesthetic distinct from the standard card variant, utilizing specific foil treatments and alternate illustrations meant to appeal to collectors of high-rarity game pieces. As with much of the Two Legends set, the design direction prioritizes a balance between aggressive character depiction and the game's established visual identity, aiming to capture the imposing nature of the character while maintaining the mechanical clarity required for competitive play.
