Boa Marigold

The Boa Marigold card (OP13-052) was released as part of the Carrying On His Will set, which served as the thirteenth booster expansion for the One Piece Card Game. This set was launched in 2024 to commemorate the third anniversary of the game, focusing heavily on the characters and narrative arcs associated with the Impel Down and Marineford storylines. As a character card, it highlights one of the Gorgon sisters, emphasizing their role as warriors of the Kuja tribe and their complicated history with the series protagonist.

The card design follows the established aesthetic of the One Piece trading card line, utilizing high-quality illustrations that capture the character's signature combat style and distinct visual motifs. The art direction for these anniversary sets typically aims to blend dynamic action sequences with the recognizable character designs found in Eiichiro Oda’s source material. Upon its release, the card was integrated into various gameplay strategies, particularly those centered around the Animal Kingdom Pirates or specific color-coded decks that prioritize defensive character abilities.
