Boeuf Burst

Boeuf Burst was released as part of the Legacy of the Master expansion, a set intended to revisit classic tactical motifs within the game's evolving mechanical framework. Developed during a transitional period for the card game's design team, this event card was crafted to introduce high-stakes board manipulation, drawing inspiration from thematic elements of oversized, aggressive creature archetypes that had fallen out of competitive favor in earlier iterations.

The visual design of the card emphasizes kinetic energy and raw force, utilizing heavy ink strokes to convey the chaotic nature of the titular maneuver. While initial player reception focused primarily on its potential to swing momentum in late-game scenarios, critics noted that the card successfully bridged the gap between complex resource management and the more direct, aggressive playstyles that define the legacy meta.
