Borsalino

The Borsalino character card, identified as OP05-051, originates from the 'Awakening of the New Era' [OP05] expansion of the One Piece Card Game, released in 2023. The card features the Marine Admiral Borsalino, commonly known as Kizaru, capturing his distinct 'Pika Pika no Mi' light-based abilities. As an Admiral of the Navy, the character is a central antagonist and a powerhouse figure within the One Piece narrative, and this specific card was designed to function as a high-defense character card, becoming a staple in competitive deck builds due to its ability to block and remain resilient against attacks.

The illustration work reflects the aesthetic standards of the One Piece Card Game, which draws heavily from Eiichiro Oda's original manga art style. The design emphasizes the character's signature yellow suit and his nonchalant, detached demeanor, which is a hallmark of his personality in the source material. Upon its release, the card was well-received by players for its tactical versatility and by collectors for its clean, representative depiction of one of the series' most iconic admirals.
