Provenance

Where it came from

The Brand New World event card was released as part of the Extra Booster: Anime 25th Collection for the One Piece Card Game, debuting in 2024 to celebrate the franchise's quarter-century milestone. This set was designed to capture iconic moments and themes from the long-running series, serving as a commemorative expansion that appeals to both competitive players and dedicated fans of the anime's visual history.

The card features artwork inspired by the emotional conclusion of the Enies Lobby arc, specifically depicting the crew's departure on the Thousand Sunny. The design emphasizes the camaraderie and transition inherent to the Straw Hat Pirates' journey, rendered in the distinct, high-contrast aesthetic typical of the game's art direction, which aims to evoke the original manga panels while remaining functional for card game mechanics.
