Brook

The Royal Blood set, designated as OP10, was released to expand the tactical variety of the One Piece Card Game, focusing on characters tied to lineage and the thematic nobility of the series. Brook, the Soul King of the Straw Hat Pirates, is featured here as a character card that draws upon his role as a musician and combatant. The design team sought to capture his distinct aesthetic, balancing his skeletal form with the sophisticated, aristocratic attire he adopts during the post-timeskip narrative arcs, reflecting the set's broader royal motif.

Illustrators for this series are typically tasked with blending high-energy action poses with the specific art direction of the manga, aiming to keep the card visually distinct from previous iterations of the character. The card was designed to function within specific deck builds that reward players for utilizing 'Soul' or 'Musician' archetypes. Upon release, it was noted for its utility in strategic play, becoming a functional piece for collectors who focus on Straw Hat crew members and a staple for players navigating the evolving competitive meta of the OP10 cycle.
