Bunkov

The Bunkov character card (OP16-025) was issued as part of the Time of Battle Release Event, a promotional series designed to coincide with new set expansions in the One Piece Card Game. These event cards are typically distributed to participants of official organized play events, serving as commemorative rewards that mark specific milestones in the game's competitive cycle. By featuring characters in unique, event-exclusive art treatments, these cards are intended to incentivize community engagement and reward long-term players within the trading card ecosystem.

The design of the card reflects the aesthetic standards established by the One Piece Card Game, utilizing high-quality card stock and foil treatments that define its rarity tier. The illustration aims to capture the thematic intensity of the Time of Battle event, aligning the character's visual presentation with the strategic role they occupy within the game's mechanics. As a standard promo item from the Organized Play (OP) series, it was received by the player base as a collectible snapshot of the game's development during its sixteenth promotional cycle, valued primarily for its scarcity and utility in deck building.
