Where it came from
The Carrot (OP08-021) leader card was released in the Extra Booster: Anime 25th Collection for the One Piece Card Game. This set was designed to commemorate the quarter-century milestone of the One Piece anime, featuring characters and moments that span the series' long history. As an SP (Special) rarity card, it features unique, high-quality foil treatments and exclusive artwork that distinguishes it from standard leader cards found in main expansion sets.
The card depicts Carrot, the fan-favorite mink from the Zou arc, highlighting her energetic and agile combat style within the game's mechanics. The art direction emphasizes her distinct aesthetic as a member of the Mink Tribe, aiming to appeal to collectors who value thematic consistency and the specific visual flair associated with the 25th-anniversary celebration. Since its introduction, the card has been recognized for its niche but distinct role in the meta and its status as a celebratory collectible.
