DON!! Card (Young Luffy) (Devil Fruits Collection Vol. 1)

The DON!! card series serves as an integral gameplay mechanic in the One Piece Card Game, introduced alongside the launch of the trading card game in 2022. This specific variant, featuring a young Monkey D. Luffy, was released as part of the Devil Fruits Collection Vol. 1, a special promotional set designed to celebrate the franchise's 25th anniversary. These cards are primarily utilized as a resource system, where players 'rest' them to pay for the cost of playing character or event cards during a match.

The aesthetic of the DON!! cards draws directly from the Eiichiro Oda's iconic manga art style, focusing on the dynamic onomatopoeia that defines the series. The Young Luffy design was curated by Bandai’s design team to evoke nostalgia for the series' origins, presenting a clean, high-contrast visual style that emphasizes the manga's kinetic energy. Upon release, the cards were well-received by the player community for their functional simplicity and their role as collectible visual markers that distinguish the game's tactical flow.
