Eustass"Captain"Kid (Tournament Pack Vol. 5)

The Eustass 'Captain' Kid character card, numbered ST02-013, was originally released as part of the Starter Deck: Worst Generation in the One Piece Card Game. This specific version served as a foundational piece for the game's early meta, as the character's ability to rest and protect the player became a central mechanic for green-aligned decks. The design reflects the rough, rebellious aesthetic of the character as he appears in the Wano Country arc, emphasizing his aggressive personality and magnetic devil fruit powers.

The artwork follows the standardized high-contrast style established by the One Piece Card Game production team, prioritizing clarity for competitive play while maintaining the distinct illustrative flair of Eiichiro Oda's original manga character designs. Upon its release, the card was widely received by the community as a staple for tactical control, marking it as a significant card for collectors interested in the early competitive history of the franchise.
