Inazuma

The Inazuma character card, designated OP06-002, was released as part of the Wings of the Captain expansion for the One Piece Card Game. Debuting in late 2023, the set focuses on the Revolutionary Army and the Marine hierarchy, drawing heavily from the narrative arcs where Inazuma, a key revolutionary officer, plays a pivotal role in the infiltration of Impel Down. The design team crafted this card to reflect the character's unique scissor-based abilities, utilizing the game’s color-coding mechanics to place the card within the strategic framework of the Revolutionary Army deck archetype.

The illustration depicts Inazuma in a dynamic stance, capturing the character’s dual-toned aesthetic and calm, focused demeanor. In the competitive meta, the card was received as a functional utility piece, valued for its cost-to-effect ratio in specific deck builds. By focusing on iconic supporting characters from the Impel Down and Marineford arcs, the set aimed to provide players with deep-cut narrative choices, ensuring that even secondary figures like Inazuma were represented with art consistent with the high-production values seen throughout the series' ongoing card game cycle.
