Jewelry Bonney (Super Rare Alternate Art)

This card was released in 2024 as part of the One Piece Card Game Extra Booster: Memorial Collection, a set specifically curated to highlight popular female characters from the franchise. Jewelry Bonney, known as the 'Big Eater' and a member of the Worst Generation, is depicted here in a specialized alternate art format that distinguishes it from the standard character card found in the set. The design choice leans into the aesthetic of the Memorial Collection, prioritizing dynamic character portraiture that captures Bonney's spirited personality and her role in the overarching narrative of the series.

The illustration for this card was developed as part of Bandai’s broader strategy to create collectible tiers within the One Piece Card Game, specifically using 'Super Rare' and 'Alternate Art' designations to drive interest among competitive players and high-end collectors. The card was received with notable enthusiasm upon its release, primarily due to the character's increasing prominence in the One Piece anime and manga storylines. The artistic execution reflects the game's signature style, which balances high-fidelity anime-inspired line work with premium foiling techniques designed to make the card stand out in both competitive decks and personal display binders.
