Koby

The Koby card, designated OP13-025, was released as part of the Carrying On His Will set, which served as the cornerstone of the One Piece Card Game's third-anniversary tournament cycle. These tournament-specific releases are designed to commemorate the growth of the game while highlighting pivotal character arcs from Eiichiro Oda’s long-running series. The inclusion of Koby reflects his evolution from a timid cabin boy to a courageous Marine captain, mirroring the thematic focus on legacy and determination prevalent throughout this anniversary collection.

The visual design of this card adheres to the high-contrast, action-oriented aesthetic that defines the One Piece Trading Card Game, utilizing official art that emphasizes Koby's resolve. The set was created to reward competitive players and collectors through limited availability, ensuring that cards tied to anniversary events retain a specific prestige. Upon release, the set was well-received by the community for its balance of iconic character representation and functional utility in the game's evolving meta, cementing it as a sought-after piece for those tracking the narrative progression of the Marines within the card game format.
