Lim

The Lim character card, designated OP10-037, was released as part of the -ROYAL BLOOD- set, which serves as the tenth main expansion for the One Piece Card Game. This set was designed to explore narrative arcs and character dynamics within the world of Eiichiro Oda's long-running manga series, specifically focusing on thematic elements tied to the Egghead arc and the mysterious origins of certain figures. The card was developed by Bandai to provide players with specific tactical utility within the game's evolving meta-game, prioritizing strategic card synergies over purely cosmetic appeal.

The artistic direction for this card follows the established aesthetic of the One Piece trading card line, which utilizes official character illustrations rendered in a bold, vibrant style that mirrors the source material's dynamic energy. By integrating the character into the -ROYAL BLOOD- expansion, the design team aimed to bridge the gap between recent developments in the manga and the game's competitive environment. Upon its release, the card was received primarily as a functional component for specialized deck archetypes, reflecting the broader trend of expanding the game's roster to include more obscure or secondary characters from the series' complex lore.
