Monkey.D.Dragon (Regionals Champion Card Set 26-27 Vol.2)

The Monkey D. Dragon promotional card (OP07-015) was released as part of the organized play circuit for the One Piece Card Game, specifically designated for winners of regional tournaments. Produced by Bandai, these cards serve as high-tier trophies intended to incentivize competitive participation and reward top-placing players within the community. The release reflects the game's strategy of utilizing limited-distribution foil prints to maintain long-term interest in its competitive ecosystem.

The design features the mysterious leader of the Revolutionary Army, rendered with the distinctive art style consistent with the game's seventh expansion set, 500 Years in the Future. The card's aesthetic intent was to emphasize the character's enigmatic gravity, utilizing the signature high-contrast foil treatments characteristic of Bandai's 'Champion' promotional tier. Upon release, the card was received with significant interest by collectors and players alike, both for its scarcity in the secondary market and its utility as a powerful blue-aligned character card.
