Provenance

Where it came from

The Monkey.D.Luffy (OP09-119) card is a Special Rare (SP) holographic release from the 'Carrying On His Will' set, the ninth expansion of the One Piece Card Game. Introduced in 2024 to commemorate the series' ongoing narrative trajectory, this card features a unique illustration style distinct from the standard character cards found in earlier boosters. The design is intended to emphasize the gravitas of Luffy's character evolution, utilizing high-quality foiling techniques that have become a hallmark of the SP rarity tier.

The 'Carrying On His Will' set was developed by Bandai to align with major climactic arcs of the manga and anime, aiming to provide players and collectors with high-fidelity representations of pivotal moments.
