Mr.1(Daz.Bonez)

The Mr. 1 (Daz Bonez) card (OP02-063) was released in 2022 as part of the Paramount War expansion set for the One Piece Card Game. This set was designed to reflect the high-stakes narrative of the Marineford arc in the original manga and anime, focusing on the conflict between the World Government and the Whitebeard Pirates. The card features Daz Bonez, the former Baroque Works assassin, rendered in the game's characteristic art style that prioritizes dynamic poses and high-contrast color palettes intended to evoke the intensity of the series' battles.

Mechanically, this character card was crafted to represent Daz Bonez’s Supa Supa no Mi abilities, aligning with the black color archetype in the One Piece TCG, which often emphasizes board control and removal effects. The card was developed by Bandai to provide players with a strategic option within the set’s meta, allowing for specific tactical synergies within Navy or Baroque Works-themed decks. Upon its release, it was received as a solid mid-tier inclusion that appealed both to competitive players looking for utility and to collectors documenting the expansive roster of characters from the Alabasta and Marineford arcs.
