Ms. Wednesday

Ms. Wednesday, designated as card OP14-083, is a character card featured in the Azure Sea's Seven expansion set. This series was conceptualized to celebrate the expansive nautical folklore and character-driven narratives prevalent in the franchise's world-building, focusing on the mysterious archetypes that populate the series' coastal regions. The design aesthetic draws heavily from mid-century maritime art, employing a soft, watercolor-inspired palette intended to evoke the shifting tides and ethereal nature of the Azure Sea lore.

The character design was overseen by the franchise's core visual development team, who sought to balance the subject's clandestine role with a graceful, enigmatic posture. Upon release, the set was noted by the hobby community for its departure from the more aggressive, combat-focused card art typical of the era. Critics and players alike praised the understated illustration style, viewing it as a thoughtful expansion of the game’s visual identity that prioritized atmospheric storytelling over standard action-oriented tropes.
