Nefeltari Vivi (Alternate Art)

Nefeltari Vivi (EB04-025) was released as part of the 'Extra Booster: Memorial Collection' (EB-01) for the One Piece Card Game, often associated with the series theme of 'The Azure Sea's Seven' within the broader card ecosystem. The card was designed to highlight key narrative moments from the Alabasta Arc, specifically focusing on Vivi's role as a princess and a vital member of the Straw Hat crew's journey. Its inclusion in the Memorial Collection was intended to celebrate iconic characters who have left a lasting impact on the series, with the alternate art version featuring a premium finish and character-specific illustrations that emphasize her regal yet determined nature.

The artwork for this specific card iteration focuses on a high-fidelity aesthetic, moving away from standard action sequences to offer a more nuanced, character-centric portrait. The design team aimed to evoke the emotional weight of Vivi's departure from the crew, utilizing the foil treatment and layout common to the high-rarity cards in the set to distinguish it as a collector's piece. Upon release, it was well-received by players and collectors alike, who valued its thematic resonance with the anime's original plot and its utility within the game's evolving meta.
