Patty & Carne

Patty and Carne were released in 2023 as part of the Starter Deck 12: Zoro and Sanji for the One Piece Card Game. The cards in this deck were specifically designed to highlight the camaraderie and fighting styles of characters associated with the Straw Hat Pirates, focusing on the crew of the Baratie restaurant where Sanji previously served as a chef. The inclusion of these characters serves as a narrative callback to the early arcs of the manga, grounding the high-stakes card game in the series' foundational lore.

The artwork follows the standardized aesthetic established by Bandai for the One Piece Card Game, prioritizing clear character identification and thematic consistency with the anime's visual identity. By grouping these supporting characters within a starter deck, the designers intended to provide players with synergy-focused archetypes that emphasize the 'East Blue' origins of the primary characters. Upon release, the deck was well-received by players for its playability and the nostalgic value of its character roster.
