Prince Grus

Prince Grus appears in the A Fist of Divine Speed set, released as part of the broader card game ecosystem to introduce high-speed combat archetypes. The character was designed to embody a regal yet aggressive aesthetic, fitting within the set's narrative of rapid-fire tactical duels. The design team focused on sharp, angular lines and a vibrant color palette to distinguish the character as a central, high-rarity figure within the collection's meta-narrative.

Upon its release, the card became a notable example of the artistic shift towards more intricate, lore-heavy illustrations that defined the later stages of the game's production. While primarily valued for its utility in competitive play, it was well-received by collectors for its consistent thematic integration and the detailed rendering of its armored motifs, which set a visual standard for the character-type cards within this specific expansion.
