Rakuyo

The Rakuyo character card, designated OP13-055, originates from the 'Carrying On His Will' expansion set of the One Piece Card Game. This set draws its thematic inspiration from the Marineford Arc, capturing the intense emotional stakes and shifting allegiances that defined that pivotal moment in the series. As a character card, Rakuyo represents the commander of the Whitebeard Pirates' seventh division, emphasizing his role as a loyal subordinate during the height of the conflict.

The card’s design adheres to the established visual language of the One Piece trading card game, utilizing high-energy illustration styles typical of modern Japanese hobby card design. It functions as a tactical element within the game's broader deck-building ecosystem, reflecting the franchise's emphasis on character synergy and crew dynamics. Like other cards in the thirteenth expansion, it was developed by the game's production team to bridge the gap between narrative storytelling and competitive mechanical balance, and it has been received by players as a functional piece of deck utility.
