Richie

Richie, card number OP09-054, is a character card featured in the -BLUE Buggy- starter deck, part of the ninth booster set release for the One Piece Card Game. The card depicts Richie the Lion, the loyal beast companion of the Buggy Pirates, rendered in the distinctive, high-energy art style characteristic of the game's collaboration with Eiichiro Oda's iconic manga series. It serves as a thematic inclusion meant to represent the early chapters of the series, specifically the Orange Town arc where the Buggy Pirates first appear.

The design of this card focuses on mechanical synergy within the blue-colored deck archetype, which often prioritizes strategic deck manipulation and character utility. As an ST-25 release, the card is designed to integrate seamlessly into the established meta-play of the One Piece trading card game, providing players with a specific tactical option for pirate-themed synergy. It has been received by the collector community as a standard yet necessary component for players looking to complete their starter deck sets or represent niche characters from the Buggy Pirates crew.
