Rob Lucci

The Rob Lucci character card, indexed as EB04-048, was released as part of the Extra Booster set 'Adventure on Kami's Island' for the One Piece Card Game. This set was designed to expand the tactical variety of the game, introducing unique mechanics and characters from the long-running manga and anime franchise. The design team focused on maintaining the high-octane aesthetic of the source material, utilizing original character artwork that reflects Lucci's role as a cold, calculated antagonist within the CP0 organization.

Upon its release, the card was integrated into the meta-game, with players evaluating its utility based on its specific cost and ability interactions. The artistic direction for this series emphasizes the clean, bold lines synonymous with Eiichiro Oda’s character designs, aiming to capture the imposing nature of the villain. The reception among collectors and competitive players has been centered on the card’s viability in deck building and its value as a representative piece of the 'Adventure on Kami's Island' collection.
