Roronoa Zoro

The Roronoa Zoro character card (OP07-113) was released as part of the 500 Years in the Future (OP-07) expansion for the One Piece Card Game. This set, which debuted in 2024, draws heavily from the Egghead Arc of the manga and anime, focusing on the intersection of futuristic technology and the ongoing journey of the Straw Hat Pirates. The card was issued during the pre-release window, a period designed to build community engagement by allowing players to experience the new mechanics and card interactions before the official retail launch.

The design of this card follows the game's established aesthetic, which integrates vibrant, high-quality illustrations from the source material with a functional layout optimized for competitive play. As with other cards in the series, it is produced by Bandai to satisfy a growing global player base that values both the strategic depth of the game and the collectible nature of iconic characters like Zoro. Its reception has been largely positive among collectors who prioritize character-specific cards that feature dynamic combat stances reflective of Zoro's role as the crew's swordsman.
