Ryuma

The Ryuma card from the Royal Blood Release Event series emerged as part of the One Piece Card Game's tenth booster expansion cycle. Designed to coincide with special organized play events, these cards were created to commemorate key moments and characters from the Wano Country arc, specifically highlighting the legendary samurai Ryuma. The artwork utilizes the series' signature high-contrast aesthetic to emphasize the character's spectral intensity, balancing the lore of the manga with the game's competitive focus.

The design of this release prioritized thematic consistency with the Royal Blood set, aiming to appeal to collectors interested in the depth of Wano's history. By featuring a character of such significant historical importance within the series, the card was received as a cornerstone for players building mono-color or themed decks. The illustration reflects the deliberate, sharp lines characteristic of the game's art direction, serving as both a functional piece for gameplay and a visual tribute to the character's legacy.
