Sabo

The Sabo card, numbered OP05-007, was originally released as a Super Rare in the fifth expansion set of the One Piece Card Game, titled Awakening of the New Era, in 2023. It was later reprinted as part of the PRB-01 'The Best' collection, a retrospective set designed to compile iconic character cards from the game's first year. This specific artwork depicts Sabo, the Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army, in his iconic outfit, reflecting his pivotal role in the Dressrosa arc of the One Piece series.

The design of this card highlights the character's strategic utility in gameplay, specifically utilizing a Counter effect that allows players to draw cards and discard them, mirroring Sabo's tactical nature. The card was illustrated by a team of artists commissioned by Bandai to maintain consistency with the series' established aesthetic. It has been well received by collectors and competitive players alike for its dual functionality and its significance as a core piece for red-deck archetypes.
