Sanji (Online Regional 2023) [Finalist]

The Sanji card, designated ST01-004, originated as a foundational character card within the initial release of the One Piece Card Game in 2022. This specific iteration is the Online Regional 2023 Finalist promotional variant, created to reward high-performing players during the competitive circuit. Its design reflects the aesthetic of the game's first starter deck, utilizing character art that emphasizes Sanji's signature combat stance, which resonated with players who valued his role as a strategic utility piece in the early meta.

The competitive version of the card features exclusive holofoil treatments and event-specific stamps that distinguish it from the standard starter deck printing. As an event-exclusive prize, the card reflects Bandai's strategy to foster a professional tournament scene by incentivizing participation with rare, serialized-style recognition. The card was received by the community as a prestigious status symbol, marking the recipient's skill in navigating the complex, fast-paced mechanics of the early Regional format.
