Shinobu

Shinobu (OP01-043) was released in 2022 as part of Romance Dawn, the inaugural expansion set for the One Piece Card Game. The set was designed to introduce the core mechanics of the game while celebrating the long-running history of Eiichiro Oda’s manga. Shinobu, a ninja from the Wano Country arc, was selected to represent the set's focus on the Land of Wano characters, providing players with a utility card capable of returning low-cost character cards to their owner's hand.

The card features an illustration consistent with the art style used throughout the initial card pool, emphasizing the vibrant, character-driven aesthetic of the series. As a Common rarity card, it was distributed widely within starter decks and booster packs, serving as a functional piece for players building decks around the 'Wano Country' type. Upon release, it was received as a solid technical inclusion for blue-colored decks, valued primarily for its tactical versatility in managing the opponent's board presence.
