Yamato (Championship 2024 Finals 2nd Place)

The Yamato OP04-112 card was issued as a high-tier prize for top-ranking competitors in the 2024 One Piece Card Game Championship circuit. As a promotional iteration of a previously released card, it represents the competitive pinnacle of the game, featuring exclusive full-art foil treatment and unique holographic patterns that distinguish it from standard expansion releases. These versions are produced in extremely limited quantities and are distributed solely to finalists at official championship events, making them artifacts of the game’s organized play history.

The design of the card highlights Yamato, a pivotal character from the Wano Country arc, rendered in an illustrative style favored by the franchise's creative team to emphasize the character’s strength and aesthetic flair. The card reflects the broader design philosophy of the One Piece Card Game, which leans heavily into high-contrast illustrations and intricate foiling to reward players for their skill. Upon release, these championship-grade cards were received with significant interest by the competitive community, serving as both a functional game piece and a prestigious collectible for the most dedicated players.
