What Alsophila acanthophora is
Alsophila acanthophora is a tree fern that holds itself in an upright posture. You will notice its form by the way it lifts its fronds from a central point rather than sprawling across your shelf.
This fern needs high humidity to stay content. Keeping it in a spot with medium water and partial shade replicates the tropical rainforest floor where it naturally lives.
