Moo-Moo Milk

Moo-Moo Milk was released in 2000 as part of the Neo Genesis expansion, the first set in the Pokémon Trading Card Game to introduce the Johto region and the second generation of Pokémon. As an Item card, its design was intended to replicate the gameplay mechanic of the Moomoo Milk consumable from the Gold and Silver video games, offering players a way to heal their active Pokémon. The card illustrates the iconic glass bottle design, serving as a functional staple in early competitive decks that prioritized sustained healing during matches.

The artwork for the card was rendered by Keiji Kinebuchi, a frequent contributor to the Wizards of the Coast era of the game who was known for his clean, distinct style that often emphasized the utilitarian nature of Trainer and Item cards.
