All Hope Abandon

Released in 2018 through the underground label Terratur Possessions, All Hope Abandon stands as a significant work within the dark ambient and neofolk spheres. The project, led by the enigmatic artist Lamia Vox, draws heavily from themes of existential dread, industrial decay, and occult mysticism. It represents an evolution in the artist's sound, moving away from more traditional industrial tropes toward a layered, ritualistic atmosphere that emphasizes bleak soundscapes and haunting, operatic vocal arrangements.

The physical presentation of the record, cataloged as VOICE 075, reflects the label's commitment to dark, minimalist aesthetics often found in black metal and neofolk subcultures. The artwork is deliberately spare, designed to mirror the cold, despondent nature of the music itself. While it remains a niche release within the experimental music circuit, it has been received by critics as a poignant exploration of isolation, praised for its dense production and the emotional gravity conveyed through its repetitive, hypnotic structures.
