Estas Músicas Foram Gravadas Especialmente Para Os Amigos Das: Pilhas Ray-O-Vac, Baterias Heliar, Saturno, Willard, Exide, Varta E Linhas Lipasa

Released in 1969 by Fermata Produções, this promotional compilation serves as a fascinating artifact of mid-century corporate advertising in Brazil. It was commissioned by a consortium of battery and automotive component manufacturers, including Ray-O-Vac, Heliar, and Varta, to be distributed as a marketing gift to their commercial partners and loyal customers. The record functioned as a soft-power branding exercise, embedding these industrial brands into the domestic lives of consumers through the popular music of the era.

The album features a curated selection of tracks designed to showcase the versatility of the Fermata catalog, a label known for its significant role in the development of the Brazilian music industry during the late 1960s. While the individual designers or art directors for the sleeve are not prominently credited in archival records, the design follows the aesthetic trends of promotional 'brindes' or giveaway albums of the period, which prioritized brand visibility alongside high-fidelity audio production to associate the technical reliability of batteries with the enduring quality of the featured recordings.
