Fiers Et Tremblants

Fiers et Tremblants emerged in 2021 as a collaborative project between singer-songwriter Loïc Lantoine and rapper Marc Nammour, both prominent figures in the French independent music scene. The album serves as a confluence of their distinct styles, blending Lantoine’s gritty, poetic chanson with Nammour’s socially conscious, rhythmic delivery. Released under the Association La Canaille label, the record acts as an exploration of contemporary social anxieties and the resilience of the human spirit, echoing the themes of resistance and vulnerability often found in both artists' solo catalogs.

The aesthetic of the project mirrors the raw, unvarnished nature of its lyrical content. By pairing Lantoine’s weathered vocal delivery with Nammour’s rhythmic urgency, the duo created a soundscape that feels both urgent and timeless. The production focuses on minimalist arrangements that prioritize the weight of the words, a hallmark of their collaborative philosophy. Upon its release, the album was well-received within the French independent circuit, praised for its lyrical depth and the seamless integration of two disparate musical lineages into a cohesive, poignant statement.
