Flash Resonance: Light Breeze was released in 1982 on the Charles Talar label, emerging from the French library music scene of the early 1980s. Library music, often referred to as production music, was composed to provide mood-based soundscapes for television, film, and radio commercials. The project served as a creative outlet for Christian Chevallier and Alan Feanch, who were established figures in the specialized world of French orchestral and experimental production music.

The album reflects the era's transition toward synthesizer-heavy textures combined with traditional jazz and lounge elements.
