Hi-Hat Club (Vol. 7): Hyasynthus

The Hi-Hat Club series was established by the German label Melting Pot Music as a showcase for the vibrant instrumental hip-hop and beat-making scene centered in Cologne and beyond. By inviting various producers to craft cohesive mini-albums, the label provided a platform for artists to experiment with soulful, sample-based production that blended jazz, funk, and modern electronic textures. Knowsum, a producer noted for his intricate, dusty, and slightly off-kilter approach to rhythm, designed Hyasynthus as a deep dive into atmospheric textures and layered percussion.
