Jenny-Lynne

Jenny-Lynne was released in 1972 on the Epic label as a follow-up single by the American pop-rock band Looking Glass. The group, formed at Rutgers University, achieved significant commercial success earlier that year with their hit song Brandy (You're a Fine Girl), which topped the Billboard Hot 100. This single sought to capitalize on the melodic, radio-friendly soft rock sound that had defined their breakthrough, fitting squarely into the folk-inflected pop landscape of the early 1970s music industry.
