This compilation, released by the Estonian reissue label Frotee in 2018, gathers the experimental early works of musician Olev Muska. Muska, an Australian-Estonian artist, sought to modernize traditional Estonian folk music during the late 1970s and early 1980s by integrating it with emerging electronic synthesizers and computer-based sequencing. The recordings reflect a unique intersection of Baltic cultural heritage and the burgeoning global DIY electronic movement of that era.

The album serves as a retrospective of Muska’s early home-studio experimentation, capturing a period when he was pioneering a distinctly synthetic approach to choral and folk melodies.
