Quien Te Dijo Que Te Quiero

Released in 1992 under the Sony label, 'Quien Te Dijo Que Te Quiero' stands as a notable entry in Paloma Cordero's discography during the early nineties. The record emerged during a period of transition in the Latin pop landscape, where artists were increasingly blending traditional romantic ballads with contemporary, polished production values characteristic of the era's major label outputs.

The album reflects a deliberate effort to solidify Cordero's identity as a versatile performer, utilizing arrangements that prioritized emotive vocal delivery supported by session musicians typical of Sony's professional standards at the time. While the project followed the established aesthetic trends of the early nineties, its reception was primarily centered within domestic markets, serving as a functional contribution to the pop catalogs of the decade rather than a radical departure from the genre's stylistic norms.
