Robert And Dornroosje / Thom In The City

Robert And Dornroosje / Thom In The City was released in 2007 as a limited white-label pressing under the catalog number EZ 01. It represents a collaborative effort between influential German electronic producer Henrik Schwarz and the esteemed DJ and producer Dixon. The release emerged from the vibrant Berlin techno and house scene, where both artists were central figures, known for pushing the boundaries of melodic, dancefloor-oriented electronic music.

The record was produced independently, bypassing major distribution channels to maintain an aura of exclusivity and artistic control. Designed as a functional tool for DJs, the release showcases the signature deep house aesthetic that defined the Innervisions label sound, which Dixon co-founded. Upon its arrival, the record was received as a highly coveted item among underground enthusiasts and club DJs, prized for its rarity and its embodiment of the minimalist, soulful progression of mid-2000s club music.
